Summary of Main Task

As a member of the pioneer team in our newly setup Digital & Analytics Centre, the Data Management & Digital Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development of mobile applications and web applications, as well as the execution of data governance and compliance in the cloud. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver digital transformation projects based on a user-centered and Agile approach.

Responsibilities:

Data Management

• Implement data governance policies, data quality standards, data protection standards, and data & digital initiatives adoption across the enterprise.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage all data governance practices (e.g. data security, data quality, data access) in the cloud.
• Work with vendors/consultants/internal teams on various digital and analytics projects and apply the best practices for internal usage.
• Perform various analytics to improve internal operations, digital & data adoption, and customer experience

Web & App Development

• Develop digital applications such as mobile apps and web apps related to various operations.
• Collect detailed user and technical requirements, analyze collected requirements, translate them into programming solutions, and ensure identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
• Create app or website updates, including bug fixes and additional features upgrades for app or website enhancement release.
• Work with project stakeholders to develop an enhanced user experience.
• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code that follows best practices and standards.
• Follow best practices related to development, testing, and change management procedures.
• Write and maintain system documentation.
• Prepare test plans for user acceptance test of new applications and enhancements. • Participate in the entire product’s lifecycle (analyze, develop, test, release, maintenance, support, and sustain).
• Integrate APIs from internal and external sources.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and debug to optimize app or website performance.
• Build knowledge on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Work with vendors to co-develop new or existing mobile apps or websites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science (or a related field).
• 2 - 5 years of working experience in web and application development.
• 2 – 5 years of working experience of deploying solutions in cloud computing.
• Experience with Flutter and PHP Laravel Development.
• Experience with front-end and back-end web and app development - Full Stack.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or any Machine Learning open programming applications.
• Experience with cloud databases (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
• Proficiency in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
• Agile/Scrum knowledge and experience of working in a digital transformation environment.

KNOWLEDGE

• Good knowledge of the Data and Digital development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Data Management domain (e.g. data quality, data security, data integrity).
• Have involved in the development of stakeholder-ready deliverables and presenting them with confidence and influence.

SKILLS (PROFESSIONAL, TECHNICAL MANAGERIAL & PRACTICAL)

• Skillful in the following programming language: Flutter, Java, PHP (Laravel), SQL & Python.
• Skills in Power BI Dashboard development and solutioning using Cloud Computing in Microsoft Azure is a plus.

ABILITIES

• Able to complete multiple tasks within the deadline.
• Maintaining and balancing various requests from stakeholders and assessing the objectivity of the requests for prioritization.
• Knowledge of business vs analytics - understanding data from various systems for a deeper comprehension of a data structure based on subjects.
