Job Summary: As an Ops Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the operational aspects of our custodial services, ensuring the safety and integrity of our clients' digital assets through robust security measures and cutting-edge technology.
Job Description:
- Ensure daily business-as-usual processes (account opening, settlement, payments, and reconciliation) are executed accurately and timely.
- Partnering closely with sales and relationship manager to ensure high levels of client service.
- Process inward and outward remittances, liaise with customers and relevant parties on payment instructions.
- Maintenance of static data in system.
- Participate in system development projects.
- Prepare regular statistical and management reports.
- Support the review and documentation of operational processes.
- Support client onboarding (AML/KYC) and client servicing.
- Resolving of outstanding breaks in the daily BAU process, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Exchange, Trading or Brokerage Operations.
- Good knowledge of operational best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding or experience in securities / derivatives / fixed income / FX instruments and market practices in issuance, trading and custody operations.
- Knowledge in KYC/client onboarding process would be a plus point.
- Understanding or interest in blockchain technology would be a plus point.
- Good understanding and experience in data analytics and visualisation tools – e.g., Power BI, Tableau, VBA will be a bonus.
- Ability to multi-task and cope in a high-pressure environment with time-critical deliveries whilst maintaining accuracy.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
- Willingness to travel between Singapore, JB and KL as needed.
