Duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures, and staffing requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project work plans and allocate resources across different phases of the project.
  • Establish project schedules, milestones, and performance indicators to monitor progress effectively.
  • Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Arrange recruitment, assignment, and supervision of project personnel.
  • Conduct regular meetings with contractors and internal teams to define scope, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve operational or site-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure alignment between project execution and approved designs, suggesting feasible alternatives as required.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Review and evaluate project status reports and recommend modifications to schedules or plans as necessary.
  • Prepare progress reports, cost summaries, and performance evaluations for management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate project activities with government, regulatory, or external agencies as applicable.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage project operations to optimize human and automated resources for maximum productivity and profitability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensure quality execution of work and adherence to deadlines and safety standards.

People Management & Development

  • Monitor employee performance, provide coaching or mentoring, and support professional growth and succession planning.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment to foster employee engagement and morale.
  • Communicate performance expectations clearly and ensure accountability for results.
