Duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
Project Planning & Execution
- Review project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures, and staffing requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project work plans and allocate resources across different phases of the project.
- Establish project schedules, milestones, and performance indicators to monitor progress effectively.
- Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Arrange recruitment, assignment, and supervision of project personnel.
- Conduct regular meetings with contractors and internal teams to define scope, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve operational or site-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure alignment between project execution and approved designs, suggesting feasible alternatives as required.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Review and evaluate project status reports and recommend modifications to schedules or plans as necessary.
- Prepare progress reports, cost summaries, and performance evaluations for management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate project activities with government, regulatory, or external agencies as applicable.
Operational Excellence
- Manage project operations to optimize human and automated resources for maximum productivity and profitability.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure quality execution of work and adherence to deadlines and safety standards.
People Management & Development
- Monitor employee performance, provide coaching or mentoring, and support professional growth and succession planning.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment to foster employee engagement and morale.
- Communicate performance expectations clearly and ensure accountability for results.
