At KPMG's Emerging Technology Risk & Cyber Consulting practice, we do not limit ourselves to either strategy or implementation. We deliver both. We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Emerging Technology Risk & Cyber services for our IT advisory practice. This role focuses on managing technology risk for our clients on their emerging technologies including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, Internet of Things, etc.
Responsibilities:
Must have:
- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in Project Management, Risk Management, IT Security Management, Software Development, IT Operations, and/or Technology-related consulting
- Experience in professional services consulting delivering large transformation services and experience in DevOps and IT Operations
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation (PowerPoint) skills and excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels
- Strong Linux or Wintel administration skills supplemented with experience in Cloud and Virtualized environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle, VMware, etc.)
- Experience in implementing Linux/Windows/Cloud security
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor's \ Master’s degree from an accredited college/university
Good to have:
- Experience in Cloud and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of Software defined networking (SDN) in Virtual environments or Cloud
- Experience with CI/CD Tools, Git, Jenkins
- Experience with DevOps tooling platforms; Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or similar) and experience in automation by scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby and Python
- Experience in any RDBMSs (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL) or Bigdata
