KPMG is currently seeking for an Assistant Manager in CIO Advisory for the Technology Consulting practice. Working in this practice, you will work collaboratively in teams, to help solve Client’s problems quickly. You will analyse, advise and deliver digital solutions for some of the most pressing issues facing business and society. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute clients’ Digital and IT strategies, along with operating models.
  • Engage in the entire project lifecycle, encompassing information gathering, requirement documentation, analysis, and designing future state recommendations tailored to clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to grasp, refine, and document requirements, including functional/non-functional aspects and user stories.
  • Articulate well-thought-out recommendations on architecture, delivery, tooling, costs, and operating models.
  • Mentor and guide both technical and non-technical junior team members.
  • Conduct research and leverage global tools, frameworks, and resources to achieve clients’ objectives effectively.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach in crafting project artifacts, facilitating workshops, and conducting interviews.
  • Generate high-quality reports and client presentations, offering insights with a customer-centric focus.
  • Advise on and implement efficient IT governance and operational processes, such as Agile, Traditional SDLC, ITIL, COBIT, among others.
  • Foster and nurture productive relationships with colleagues, current clients, and potential client organizations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline, complemented by relevant industry experience and certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL certifications are advantageous).
  • Over 6 years of experience in IT and/or Technology Consulting, or Banking Sector with a specialization in systems/applications and/or project management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, coupled with technical acumen, analytical prowess, and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent, self-motivated, well-organized, and results-oriented individuals.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure team environment, manage multiple tasks proficiently, and promptly address challenges and issues.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
