KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for the Technology Consulting practice.

 

Responsibilities:

Generally, you will have three key areas of responsibility:

  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder advisory services for technology transformation.
  • Contribute to developing our market growth in technology advisory.
  • Contribute to our wider capability group by developing services and people.

 

Detailed job responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with the development of IT, digital and operating model strategies including initial vision, strategic requirements, and structured linkage to the business strategy.
  • Translate ambiguous business and IT challenges into results by analyzing data and engaging with a diverse range of client stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise-wide Digital/IT strategy and operations engagements and manage the process from start to finish, including setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, creating and coordinating final deliverables, and assisting with presentation of results.
  • Manage and deliver large, complex digital/IT-related engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology services for clients.
  • Develop target operating models, sourcing strategies, roadmaps, implementation plans and robust business cases for the functional areas of IT and transformation change programmes.
  • Advise, and lead engagements related to the framework development and implementation of various core IT applications and related applications.
  • Assist clients with the realization of Business and IT strategies given resource and financial constraints.
  • Provide thought leadership and specialized insights to our clients around disruptive technologies (intelligent automation, cloud), digital, mobile, agile delivery, architecture, etc.
  • Manage and facilitate development of client deliverables, executive summary read-outs, and detail fact-based analyses.
  • Assist with overall client engagement activities, proposal development, and support practice go-to-market initiatives and development of new offerings.

 

Requirements :

  • 8-10 years of working experience, with a minimum of 5 years of IT consulting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to develop hypotheses, frame problems, and generate relevant insights based on supporting data.
  • Possess professional qualifications and certifications in [IT related].
  • Possess knowledge on Business transformation/operational Transformation.
  • Success in leading significant IT projects in any industry.
  • Bachelor's degree within a field of study in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Sciences or related fields.
  • Exceptional oral and written capabilities with demonstrated experience developing well structured, logical, and audience relevant communications; must have strong MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in highly ambiguous and complex environments and the ability to interface with client executives and demonstrated commitment to personal growth and professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to successfully engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and an ability to bring people together, develop meaningful relationships, integrate services and work collaboratively with a team of experts across the wider consulting teams.
