Description:
The Knowledge Management department supports the Firm’s strategic growth initiatives by providing market intelligence insights, updates and reports. This central team ensures the effective dissemination of information firm-wide by providing access to the right tools, sources, knowledge and system.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and disseminate market intelligence insights, updates and reports on competitors, sectors and stakeholders, and any other topics related to the Firm’s direction for growth and business generation by using various platforms including digital/online, print, and social media avenues.
- Provide insights and inputs in terms of research and market intelligence in client related engagements. This would include preparation of documents, reports, analytical work, review of content and sourcing of information from various reliable platforms and tools.
- Support cross-functional projects with research data and reports, where required. Coordinate, process and resolve research requests; this would include engaging with requestors to understand the needs, applying the correct research tools to resolve the requests, generating research results from the research tools available before sending the reports back to research requestors.
- Contribute to the Firm’s annual quantitative research, which includes data sourcing, extraction, compilation and processing, charting, data interpretation, and reporting.
- Be an expert guide of KPMG’s research tools firmwide. Perform other general administrative duties in the scope of Knowledge Management research tools and practices.
- Manage the collection of KPMG’s thought leadership within Malaysia, and coordinate with regional and global offices.
- Act as administrator of the team’s intranet hub, and ensure information is kept up-to-date.
- Support special projects undertaken by the Head of Department that require research, materials preparation, and project management.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree (Second Class or better) in related disciplines; knowledge in Economics and research methodology would be an advantage.
- Strong command of the English language, oral and written.
- High proficiency in report writing and presentation development
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of apps. Experience working with Microsoft Power BI software would be an advantage.
- Analytical, independent, self-motivated, detail conscious, quick learner, capable to multi-task and work with tight deadlines.
