Description:
Develop and execute projects and marketing initiatives in support of KPMG's objectives and Brand Values.
Responsibilities:
Working with the MARCOM Manager, the duties include but are not limited to:
• Support in conceptualizing, planning, and coordinating cutting edge integrated marketing
communications campaigns; from developing proposals, marketing collaterals, project budget
management down to prepping reports where required to document effectiveness of campaigns.
• Devising ideas and strategies in development of integrated marketing campaigns across production pipeline – This includes content development of marketing collaterals for all platforms.
• Project planning and execution of the firm’s events such as organizing workshops,
seminars/webinars, conferences, and other special events. This encompasses:-
-Sourcing and management of venues, vendors and agencies. Including booking of functions rooms, accommodation rooms, food and beverage, audio + visual requirements.
- Follow up on guest’s RSVP/ management of registration.
- Preparation of delegate packs.
- Tend to delegate queries and assist technical troubleshooting.
- Oversee the set-up, dismantling and removal of the event props and clearing off the venue (for
physical events).
- Facilitate/host or serve as Master of Ceremonies (when required).
• Work with the corporate communications team to create a cohesive communications plan to promote events/ projects to related target audiences (internally to staff / externally to the public and the media).
• Collaborate with the creative team to design marketing materials/collaterals and coordinate with
printers/vendors to manage production and distribution (for flyer, brochures, buntings, advertisement, corporate gifts, and merchandizing).
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to amplify promotion across digital platforms.
• Monitor and report on competitor marketing and promotion activity.
• Identify potential branding and placement opportunities for distribution and brand visibility at external exhibitions in forms of sponsorships/partnerships.
• Support special projects undertaken by the Head of Department that may require research, materials preparation, and project management.
Requirements :
- BSc/BA in Mass Communications, Journalism/PR, Marketing, Project Management or
equivalent/similar field (minimum Second Class and above).
- Open to fresh graduates (Officer level) For Executive level, 2-3 years’ proven experience in public
relations, marketing or similar role. Experience in PR/Communications Agency is an advantage.
- Strong command of the English language. Added proficiency in Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia is an
advantage

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable as a public speaker.
• Ability to negotiate, organize and possess an eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a team or individually with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
• A creative mind partnered with the drive to find the best practical solutions.
• Experience with digital marketing, social media, content marketing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would
be an advantage.
