- To provide world class learning and development framework and tools, and timely and insightful reports to our key stakeholders to help them effectively manage their people’s growth and development.
Responsibilities:
The Learning & Development Intern reports to the L&D Associate, Manager and Director, and key roles include:
- roles and responsibilities pertaining to Student Affairs and support for our people in their pursuit of professional qualification and development.
- roles and responsibilities in relation to the HRD Corporation (HRDC) grants and claims.
- Actively involved in vary department project.
List the primary job responsibilities:
- Provides support services to students and prospective students within the Firm on sponsorship program of professional studies, provide guidance on program procedures & policies, and problem resolution.
- Be responsible for the coordination and administration such as professional study course registration & enrollment, subscription, invoicing, exemption, exam fees, and withdrawals.
- Manages the student database in the Student Affairs System, including the analysis and preparation of stakeholder’s reports.
- Builds positive and collaborative relationships with colleges/tuition providers externally and management teams internally.
- Reviews and improves on the Student Affairs handbook and process workflow.
- Attends and participates in meetings with students, professional bodies’ seminars, events, conferences and other related activities.
- Delivers high quality and exceptional service that provide value to our internal clients and appropriately prioritizes tasks to meet objectives and timelines.
- Be responsible for the preparation and compilation of supporting documents to be submitted for HRDC grant applications and claim applications.
- Liaise with HRDC Officer for clarification and information on the grant and claim processes.
- Maintains the HRDC levy reports and monitors the utilization of HRDC levy balance.
- Generates, analyses and prepares regular various stakeholder reports and compliance reports.
- Learns and be familiar with the Global Learning Management System (GLMS) in relation to managing the daily tasks of this role.
- Occasional role as a virtual classroom (VC) producer to support the VC facilitator teams in the delivery of VC programs.
- Be involved in People projects from time to time.
- Day to day responsibilities and tasks within the department as the Learning & Development Associate.
Requirements :
- Availability of 6 months and above.
- Undergraduates who have completed their first two (2) years’ of Degree course in one of these fields, with preferably a CGPA of 3.2 or Second Upper - Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Business or related disciplines
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Good command of English.
