Description:

System of Quality Management (SoQM) is KPMG Global’s initiative in the adoption and implementation of ISQM-1. SoQM is a business imperative for KPMG in ensuring that the appropriate quality controls are in place, operating effectively and reviewed on an on-going basis. This is how KPMG manage quality consistent with professional standards, our Trust Agenda and the expectation of our people, stakeholders, clients, regulators and the public. The SOQM Team supports the role of the Head of Audit and the Risk Management Partner in ensuring that the SoQM framework is operating as appropriate.


Responsibilities:

· Working with the SoQM Leader and SOQM central team members in the SoQM initiatives

· Monitor releases and announcements from Global SoQM and initiate necessary action based on discussion with SoQM Team

· Deploy SoQM trainings and monitor compliance

· Monitor Process Operators, Control Owners and Control Testers on their roles and responsibilities, timelines and SoQM documentation retention via SOQM monitoring tool

· Assist and support the SoQM Leader, SoQM Team members and PMO in their responsibilities

· Preparing Country Update and Steering Committee materials

· Preparing minutes of meetings

· Any other duties as assigned from time to time


Requirements :

•A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting/ Business Administration/ Finance / Internal Audit or other relevant discipline. Experience in SOX audit is an added advantage.

• 6 years’ working experience relevant to the responsibilities stated above

•  Has high self-initiative, resourceful, strong analytical skills, attentive to detail and an excellent command of written and spoken English

•  Able to handle communication that demonstrates high professionalism with all levels including management level and external parties

• Knowledge and experience in Excel spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Excel. Experience and knowledge in Microsoft applications such as PowerBI, Power Automate is an added advantage

• Candidates should be comfortable as a self-starter with the ability to work independently, work with systems (including Global tools and systems) and conduct hands-on fieldwork

• The ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality is critical

• Eager to learn and seek knowledge in order to highlight shortcomings and recommend possible improvements to the existing methods

• Highly adaptable to changing circumstances and environment and able to work under tight deadlines if necessary
