Description:

We are seeking an experienced recruitment professional to play a critical role in growing our KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) Delivery Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for establishing a local recruitment strategy for the Delivery Centre, as well as managing the recruitment team (one Experienced Hire Recruiter and one Campus Recruiter). 

Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop a local talent acquisition strategy that aligns to the Delivery Centre's growth ambitions
  • Manage relationships with local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for recruitment initiatives
  • Define recruitment needs and job profiles in consultation with Delivery Centre Lead and hiring managers
  • Act as an internal advisor on recruitment-related activities, raising potential risks and proposing solutions
  • Establish a close working relationship with the global KDN recruitment team, as well as the recruitment team at KPMG Malaysia
  • Ensure effective and timely delivery of recruitment services in a rapidly changing environment
  • Drive improvement initiatives in the recruitment process to enhance candidate experience and hiring outcomes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external recruitment providers, such as agencies, to optimize service delivery and partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements related to recruitment processes and practices
  • Participate in employer branding activities, including events, to strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer of choice and attract top talent

Team Management:

  • Lead the local recruitment team, including setting goals, managing performance, mentoring, handling escalations, and allocating work effectively to meet organisational demand
  • Establish and track recruitment metrics and reporting systems to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, including team management
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and reporting
  • Excellent collaboration skills with senior leadership and various stakeholders
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in driving recruitment process improvements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a matrix structure in a global professional services environment would be ideal
  • Knowledge and experience in the local shared services labor market is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to implement innovative sourcing strategies and build a robust talent pipeline
  • Proven ability to attract and retain top talent
  • Solution-based thinker with the ability to work independently on new challenges and opportunities
