You will be joining the Digital and Technology Project Management Team (DT-PMT) to work as a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager here at KPMG. We work closely with our clients across diversified industries such as retail, FMCG, manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, etc. to shape and lead technology-enabled business change engagements, typically motivated by digital transformation agenda, realising operational efficiencies, timely management information and insights, etc.
We work with clients to maximise business benefits and optimise delivery. This means shaping projects and programmes and then delivering them through the full business change lifecycle using the best-fit approach, e.g., scaled agile, scrum, waterfall, or a hybrid version. We ensure key stakeholders are engaged in designing, delivering, and adopting changes and that they retain accountability to maximize lasting benefits over the long term.
As a digital and technology focused project manager, you will be joining a collaborative and energetic team of data analysts, software engineers, automation specialists, innovation specialists and business analysts that share projects delivery knowledge and experiences. Our team covers a broad range of functional and technical domains you will have the opportunity, and be expected, to grow your skill set and experience across a variety of these.
We are looking for a proactive individual with experience of managing mid to large size teams, projects or workstreams – across diversified industries and markets – who is motivated by delivering successful engagements with clients, has a thirst to learn more and is excited to contribute to grow our team. One of the important Key Performance Indicator (“KPI”) would be timely delivery of projects with high quality.
You are expected to have project management experience, having led teams and technology enabled projects (such as Business Intelligence (BI) or Automation projects implementation). You will have assisted through the complete business change lifecycle from feasibility through to project definition, mobilisation, development (analyse / design / build / test activities), deployment (i.e., UAT), and post-delivery support.
You will be aware of the big picture level but be focused on securing the successful delivery of defined projects or leading sub work stream teams. You will have good technology skills and are likely to have been through some formal technology delivery training, e.g., through your work experience in commercial organisation, consulting firm or technology organisation. You will have developed project management capabilities and will be looking to develop your career in this direction.
To excel in this role, you must be a team lead or have project management experience and be keen to develop your career in a structured but forward-thinking environment. You will have some experience of the core delivery levers of scope, time, budget, quality, and risk and have insight into how they are used to create and maintain the optimum delivery mix. You will have a clear understanding of governance, scoping, planning, timeliness in project delivery, project finances, quality, resourcing, risks, issue management, and communications.
