We are looking for a Head of Business Development who:

What you will do: 

  • Define and execute the right strategy for Pulsifi’s business development activities while ensuring its fit with the company’s broader vision and goals
  • Responsible and accountable for achieving Pulsifi’s revenue and sales targets with agreed profit margins.
  • Nurture the right partnerships and build the eco-system for Pulsifi that enables greater visibility in the market and high-velocity lead flow 
  • Understanding the role of technology in fulfilling Pulsifi’s vision; Building the sales and business development function that fully leverages the company’s existing technology and also planned technology rollouts in the future. 
  • Build innovative solutions and segments in line with the company’s vision to maximize penetration of Pulsifi’s core solutions into the target markets. 
  • Build out a nimble, agile and flexible sales and business development team that will complement the digital DNA of the organization. 
  • Target setting, performance monitoring, coaching and guiding the sales team down the line (both existing and new).
  • Identify areas of improvement in teams and processes and take necessary initiatives to bridge these gaps for delivery to long-term strategy. 
  • Influence the market through participation in industry forums and market events to ensure positive brand recall. 
  • Provide feedback to Product and Marketing departments to drive future roadmap. 
  • Lead development of business intelligence frameworks to improve data analytics and market assessments.
  • Provide regular reporting to the leadership team on progress against the business plan, risks and support required. 
  • Keep the business relevant and ahead of the market by constantly interpreting customer, market and technology trends and providing feedback to the leadership team. 
  • Responsible for building, assessing, managing and ensuring that Pulsifi’s Information Security Management System conforms to business contractual requirements and risks across the customer lifecycle - from lead generation to collections.
  • Key participant in ISMS Board/Management Reviews and ISMS improvement
  • Work in accordance with applicable policies, processes, and procedures constituting Pulsifi’s Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes but is not limited to the organization’s Information Security Policy, Data Protection Policy, Clean Desk & Screen Policy & Password Management Policy.

You meet all or most of these requirements: 

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Sales Leader in a global/ regional role
  • Experience in developing profitable business development strategies, implementing the vision & executing plans
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to guide and coach across levels - to take the team along and provide them encouragement, direction and course correction inputs at all times
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills 
  • An understanding of the Human Resource industry is a plus
